With the Pfalztheater, the West Palatinate region has an outstanding venue with a national appeal. In addition, some small theaters and theater groups enrich the West Palatinate cultural landscape, supported by voluntary enthusiasm for acting, a sense of humor and creative ideas.
Thanks to the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslautern, high culture is also at home in the West Palatinate. With an international ensemble, it attracts over 100,000 culture enthusiasts to Kaiserslautern every year.
The theater convinces with a varied program from drama to dance to musical and opera – performed on two stages. The large hall offers space for over 700 spectators, the workshop stage up close theater experience. With guest appearances, the ensemble continues to wander through the region and the whole Palatinate.
