ADELSFELSEN ROCK
South of the Königsbruch nature reserve in the local community of Schönau, the maximum 32-meter-high Adelsfelsen rock can be climbed. The rock is located on the 318 meter high Adelsberg rock in the municipality of Dahner Felsenland. The Adelsfelsen is a rock group consisting of the Adelsnadel, the Ottoturm, the Kanapee and a massif. The Adelsfelsen can be reached via road 478 in the direction of Schönau as well as the turnoff to Fischbach. Access to the red sandstone rock is possible via a hiking trail. Due to the partly porous rock and the difficulty of the tours, climbing at the Adelsfelsen is recommended for advanced climbers.
