The Pferchfeld massif and the Pferchfeld tower extend to a rocky reef several hundred meters long on the territory of the local municipality of Busenberg within the municipality of Dahner Felsenland. In places the massif reaches a height of up to 55 meters, the Pferchfeld tower reaches up to 39 meters in height. In addition to the large number of routes, the mostly vertical wall inclination and the honeycomb-like structures of the red sandstone are considered special features of the rock reef. Access to the reef is possible via a steep hiking trail from the edge of the forest near the Bärenbrunnermühle. With about 70 routes, every climber from beginner to expert will find what he is looking for.
