SICKINGEN RIDGEWAY [SICKINGER HÖHENWEG]
The varied premium hiking trail owes its name to the last knight Franz von Sickingen, who once ruled over a large part of the Sickinger Höhe.
An interplay of different landscapes and wide, wonderful views over the countryside are the special features of the tour starting in Waldfischbach. With a distance of just under 25 kilometers, the hiking trail is one of the somewhat longer day tours. However, if you want to take the tour a little slower and enjoy the landscape to the full, you can also plan two days for the hike.
