PALATINATE MOOR TOUR [Pfälzer Moortour]
The family-friendly circular tour leads through the “Westricher Moorniederung” between the Sickinger Höhe and the Nordpfälzer Bergland.
From Bruchmühlbach-Miesau train station, the bike path first leads to Vogelbach and from there on in the direction of Waldmohr to the Mohrmühl pond. From here, the route follows the Glan-Blies-Trail for a short distance. In Schönenberg-Kübelberg the Ohmbachsee lake is passed and via Elschbach through the beautiful wide nature back to Bruchmühlbach-Miesau.
The Palatinate Moor tour becomes somewhat larger if instead of Bruchmühlbach it is started at the train station in Hauptstuhl. In addition, there are several opportunities along the way to switch directly to other great bike paths in the region.
