GERMAN-FRENCH PAMINA CYCLE ROUTE LAUTERTAL

The cycle route to France runs along the (Wies-)lauter river and is particularly family-friendly due to the low gradient.
The rather easy cycle path to the Rhine starts at the main station in Hinterweidenthal, very close to the famous “Teufelstisch”. The first section is 31 kilometres long and leads via Dahn, Bruchweiler-Bärenbach, Bundenthal, Niederschlettenbach and Bobenthal to Wissembourg. The route always runs through the varied valley of the (Wies-)Lauter river. From there, the route continues across the flat Rhine plain through the Bienwald forest to the destination of Neuburg.
The German-French Pamina Cycle Route-Lautertal is connected to nine other cycle routes.
