HORNBACH-FLECKENSTEIN CYCLE ROUTE

The tour starts in Hornbach, where you can visit the monastery right at the beginning. First, the route leads via Großsteinhausen and Bottenbach to Vinningen. Then you reach Eppenbrunn via Hochstellerhof. Following the road you reach Ludwigswinkel with the Saarbacherhammer and Mühlweiher pond. After this beautiful spot, which is suitable for a rest, the cycle path runs via Fischbach near Dahn to Schönau and has thus almost reached the last waypoint in the West Palatinate before the french border. The detour to France leads past the interesting Fleckenstein Castle and finally back into the West Palatinate to Nothweiler. From here, through rural nature, you quickly reach the destination of the route in Bundenbach.
