KLINGBACH CYCLE ROUTE

A beautiful tour through a varied landscape, which is also well suited for a family trip due to the low gradient and the many stops in between.
The Klingbach Cycle Route begins in Reichenbach in Dahner Felsenland and first leads via Schindhard, Busenberg and Oberschlettenbach to Vorderweidenthal. Here you should make a stop to explore the Lindelbrunn castle ruins. Continue via Gosserweiler-Stein to Silz. From Lake Silz [Silzer See], the trail runs parallel to the Klingbach river via Münchweiler am Klingbach and Klingenmünster. If you wish, you can visit Landeck Castle in Klingenmünster, which has the highest keep in the Palatinate and is well worth a visit. The route through the vineyards continues via Heuchelheim-Klingen, Appenhofen and Rohrbach to historic Herxheim near Landau, which is also worth a short stop. Now you only have to cross Rülzheim before you reach your destination Hördt.
