ODENBACHTAL CYCLE ROUTE
With direct connection to the two cycle paths “Lautertal Cycle Route” and “Pfälzer-Land Cycle Route”, the 32-kilometre long “Odenbachtal Cycle Route” starts at the railway station in Otterbach and ends at the entrance to Odenbach.
A pleasant route with a few sights for which you should plan a stop or two. The idyllic tour starts at the railway station in Otterbach and first leads to Otterberg. Here you can directly visit the abbey church as the second largest church in the Palatinate and the historic old town with its many half-timbered houses. The cycle path now meanders parallel to the road via Schneckenhausen and Schallodenbach to Niederkirchen and from there to Herfersweiler and Reipoltskirchen. A short stop is also recommended in Reipoltskirchen, as the moated castle is particularly worth seeing. The tour continues via Ginsweiler and Adenbach to the destination Odenbach. If you wish, you can extend the tour and continue on the Glan-Blies cycle path.
