DIMBERGPFEILER

As part of a 600-meter-long rock band on the 418-meter-high Dimberg, the Dimbergpfeiler, also called Wehrfelsen, is the starting point for some climbing tours. The rock protrudes with a height of 41 meters from the forest area in the local community Dimbach of the municipality of Hauenstein. To reach the rock, it is advisable to start near the Munzhof riding stable and climb the forest road in a westerly direction to the rock. In addition to the Dimbergpfeiler, the two rocks Falkenstein on the northwest side and Kaftenstein on the south slope of the Dimberg can also be climbed. Both beginners and more experienced climbers are offered a diverse selection of routes.
