ZELLERTAL CYCLE ROUTE

The Zellertal Cycle Route is a connection between the regions of Rheinhessen and West Palatinate and impresses with great views, vineyards and the proximity to nature.
The Zellertal Cycle Route starts at the Pfrimm facility in Worms. From there, the cycle path first leads through Karl-Bittel-Park, also called Pfrimmpark, past the small river Pfrimm. If you cycle a little further, you will reach Pfeddersheim. Here it is worth taking a short detour through the town to see the many remains of the town wall and towers. After this short stop, the next village you approach is Monsheim. The route up to here was the same as the Hiwwel route, but the two paths separate here and the Zellertal cycle path continues to Wachenheim. The border to the West Palatinate is crossed on the section to Niefernheim and then you first reach Harxheim and then Albisheim. From there, the route runs parallel to the main road along parts of the restored Pfrimm river to Marnheim.
