RAUHFELS ROCK
Especially the Rauhfels Rock and the Geiersteine offer spectacular motifs on autumn days with a little ground fog, the typical weathered Palatinate sandstone characterizes the landscape in this area.

- Location: To the right of the Rauhfels Rock a root path leads to a rock plateau, it is about 3 m lower than the highest rock point – view to the east, south and also into the sunset to the west
Directions and location:
Coming from Wilgartswiesen, take the first street on the right in Spirkelbach (Felsenstraße). At the end of this street, where the asphalt road ends, is a small parking lot. From here a path goes up opposite the parking lot. The way later turns into a path that then leads up quite steeply to the Rauhfels Rock. It is approx. 650 m from the parking lot to the Rauhfelsen plateau.
