HAUENSTEIN COBBLER PATH [Hauensteiner Schusterpfad]
Thick forests and unusual rock formations create a special atmosphere during the 15-kilometer hike around the shoe town of Hauenstein.
On pleasant natural paths and narrow trails, the trail leads through the biosphere reserve “Pfälzerwald Nature Park”. Many vantage points, such as the Hühnerstein rock, provide a great view of Hauenstein and the surrounding area of southwestern Palatinate. The family-friendly tour offers various refreshment stops and good signage.
